Rep. Juan Vargas, who is currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing California's 52nd district, has expressed his concerns on various national issues through a series of tweets. His social media posts, dated from April 14 to April 16, 2025, cover a range of topics, including the actions of former President Donald Trump and the social welfare policies in the United States.

On April 14, 2025, Vargas criticized former President Donald Trump, stating that "Trump is ignoring the Supreme Court and saying he wants to deport U.S. citizens too. Enough of the lawlessness. It’s beyond time for the Trump Administration to end this and obey the courts. Bring Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia home NOW."

The following day, April 15, 2025, Vargas shifted his focus towards Social Security, pointing a finger at Trump and Elon Musk. He claimed that "Let’s be clear, Trump and Elon Musk are risking your EARNED Social Security benefits. They’re making service worse, causing chaos, and closing offices across the country – all to give more tax breaks to billionaires. Democrats are standing together to say HANDS OFF SOCIAL." On April 16, 2025, Vargas addressed the ongoing legislative measures regarding Medicaid. He criticized the House Republicans, stating, "Last week, House Republicans voted to take another step towards making the largest cuts to Medicaid (or Medi-Cal here in CA) in history. I'll keep fighting to stop these devastating cuts from becoming a reality."

Juan Vargas, 62, was born in National City, California, and currently resides in San Diego. He replaced previous U.S Congress member Bob Filner in 2013.
