City of Imperial recently issued the following announcement.
Notice of Unscheduled Vacancy for City of Imperial Planning Commission
Pursuant to Section 54974 of the California Government Code, notice is hereby given that a vacancy exists on the Imperial Planning Commission. The unexpired term will end June 2023. The successful appointee will be required to file a “Statement of Economic Interest” (Form 700) within 10 days after assuming office.
Qualifications: Must be a registered voter of the City of Imperial and a resident of the City of Imperial.
All applications shall be filed with the City Clerk, 420 South Imperial Avenue, Imperial, CA on or before January 13, 2021.
Appointment to the Planning Commission shall not be made by the City Council for at least ten (10) working days after posting of this notice in the office of the City Clerk.
