City of El Centro issued the following announcement on Dec. 4
The City of El Centro would like to announce that the annual Christmas Tree Lighting & Street Fair event normally scheduled in December, has been canceled. This decision was not arrived lightly as we enjoy organizing an event that brings friends and families together to share the happiness of this special holiday season. Safety will always be our number one priority and it is why we must continue to be responsible and follow all State and County guidelines.
We ask that your holiday celebrations be scaled down to smaller gatherings and to please stay home, wear your mask and remember to social distance to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The Mayor and City Council would like to wish everyone a safe & healthy holiday season!
