On Friday, May 29, Isabella Yescas, previously of Brawley Union High School and now a softball player for the Cal State San Marcos Cougars, played as her team fell 5-3 to the Saint Leo Lions during the NCAA Division II Tournament.
The contest was held at Jim Frost Stadium with a 9 a.m. start.
The Cal State San Marcos Cougars are scheduled to play again on Saturday, May 30, at 9 p.m. at Jim Frost Stadium.
